CPSC
La U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) anunció el recogido de 4 millones de inflables flotantes para infantes bajo el nombre de "Inflatable Baby Floats" debido a que la correa que amarra al infante en donde se sienta se desprende, causando que el infante se caiga inesperadamente al agua, creando el riesgo de que se ahogue. La CPSC ha recibido reportes de 31 incidentes relacionados pero ninguno con consecuencias fatales. Los inflables flotantes se vendieron en diferentes estilos y colores. El nombre y número de modelo se encuentra en el empaque. La fechas entre 08/02 y 07/08 están grabadas en la válvula de los productos a recogerse.
